How to manage your Emotions?

I don’t know any human being alive today who has not had a significant emotional event happen to them. At the very least you would have endured the experience of being born right?

You and I are emotional creatures and you base your decisions whether to do something or not depending on how you feel about that particular thing, situation or person etc.

As far as I’m aware you and I are the only creatures on earth that has been endowed with, Perception, Reason, Will, Memory, Imagination and Intuition. These are emotional creative faculties; that has been innately provided for us at birth.

The challenge lies in the fact that most of you are using these emotional creative faculties in reverse… meaning there are not working for you as you would like them to and the main reason for this is because of your past wounds in life. Your Significant Emotional Events of the past based on the way you have held them in memory, your perception of them, they way in which you think about them (reasoning faculty), how you use your imagination, intuition and will power. In order words the meaning you have given them period.

Now if you don’t take care of your negative emotions of the past such as, Anger, Sadness, Fear, Hurt, Guilt etc. Then these emotions will hinder your performance, your progress and more crucially hold you back from achieving your potentials in life.

The key to all human emotions is to express them in the moment as you experience them. In other words to let them go and not to hang on to them.

This is easier said than done, as most people don’t even have a clue of how to do this themselves. Do you?

Now we have to address the very thing that would actually prevent you from taking the first step (that is your negative emotions associated to events in the past). Perhaps you are like most people, who do not make the conscious connection or association that past wounds or negative experiences of the past is the blockage to their success.


So what we have to do is influence them to overcome some of the negative emotional blockages that might prevent them from pursuing their goals, being themselves and adopting the right mind-set.

Here’s the thing if you can change your BELIEFS; you can change the way you THINK; if you can change the way you think, you can change the way you FEEL; if you can change the way you feel, you will change your ACTIONS/DECISIONS you make; if you can change your actions/decisions you make, then you can change your RESULTS.

Now that you are free from the negative emotions of the past, you can now create a more compelling future for yourself and your team.
